Lisa’s photographic work has gathered acclaim both locally and internationally. In 2016, Lisa won the AIPP Australian Professional Photographer of the Year as well as the 2017 & 2016 Victorian Professional Photographer of the Year. Apart from over 200 awards to her name, Lisa is also an Ilford Master and a brand ambassador for Manfrotto, Epson, Phottix, Tamron and Eizo.
Reoccurring elements of Lisa’s work are bold colours, texture, industrial elements, use of line, wings and a sense of drama. Her most recent project, The Anonymous Man series, combines many of these elements, with strong architecture dominating her dreamscape images. It explores the theme of the urbanisation of our world; how we have shaped our physical environment as well as the impact it has had on our social connections. The figure in each image is representative of the way in which we are losing our identity; that we now communicate in a faceless manner. This figure is always small, symbolic of how we are made insignificant in modern urban life.
